Heartsaver CPR-AED
This course was created to help students develop basic CPR and AED knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond. The program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting and is consistent with current recommendations of the American Heart Association, the National First Aid Science Advisory Board and OSHA’s best practices for CPR and AED training programs in the workplace.
Intended Audience: Individuals who require or desire elementary CPR and AED knowledge and skills with a focus on adults, children, and infant, including:
Emergency response teams in business and industry
School bus drivers
Adult residential care personnel
Child care workers
Teachers
Parents
Babysitters
Coaches
Message Therapists
About the Course: The course will be about 3 hours. During the course, you will practice and be tested on your CPR/AED skills.
Cost: $75/person This will include your 2 year American Heart Association - Heartsaver CPR/AED certification card and text book.
BLS (Basic Life Support)
This course by the American Heart Association is a CPR certification course designed for those with a “duty to act.” This is a particular focus for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and pre-hospital settings.
Intended Audience: Individuals who require or desire elementary CPR and AED knowledge and skills with a focus on adults, children, and infant, including:
Doctors
Nurses
Paramedics
EMTs
Police
Fire
Lifeguards
About the Course: The course will be about 3.5 hours. During the course, you will practice and be tested on your CPR/AED skills. There will also be a written test at the end of the course.
Cost: $85/person This will include your 2 year American Heart Association - Basic Life Support certification card and text book.
Friends and Family CPR-AED
This course teaches the lifesaving skills, adult , child, and infant CPR with use of an AED, and chocking. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement. This course is ideal for community groups, new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and others interested in learning how to save a life.
About the Course: The course will be about 3 hours. During the course, you will practice your CPR/AED skills.
Cost: $40/person This will NOT include your certification card.
Heartsaver First Aid
The course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. Students learn duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including severe choking, heart attack, and stroke; and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies, including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, and bites and stings.
About the Course: The course will be about 3.5 hours. During the course, you will practice and be tested on your First Aid skills.
Cost: $75/person This will include your 2 year American Heart Association - First Aid certification card and text book.
Heartsaver First Aid CPR-AED
The course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. Skills covered in this course include first aid; choking relief in adults, children, and infants; and what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants. This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills.
About the Course: The course will be about 6 hours. During the course, you will practice and be tested on your CPR/AED and First Aid skills.
Cost: $125/person This will include your 2 year American Heart Association - First Aid / CPR certification card and text book.
