CPR & Lifesaving Skills

About BCS

At BCS we have a Simple Philosophy:

No matter who you are, You can be Prepared for most anything!

Hi, I’m Beth, the ‘B’ in BCS CPR and Lifesaving Skills. Thanks for taking the first steps in your preparedness and lifesaving skills journey. As a Mom to an active pre-schooler, Aunt to toddlers to pre-teens, and Daughter to active adult parents, I can tell you, emergency skills are a must have! You’re here because you recognize you have important people in your life like colleagues and loved ones you need to be ready to help at a moments notice, without warning. There’s a peace of mind in knowing you are ready in case of an emergency.

More About me…

I have been a certified Lifesaving Instructor for more than 15 years, and been at the ready with lifesaving and CPR skills for more than 30 years. Starting as a lifeguard in my teens, I have continued to hone my emergency preparedness skills throughout my career as a Swim Team Coach, Lifeguard, Classroom Teacher, and as a daughter, aunt, and mother.

A life-long Jersey Shore girl, days at the beach, swimming, kayaking, hiking, biking, camping, really anything outdoors, is what I’m about! And I worry just a little bit less, because I know I’m ready for the unexpected while out and about with friends and family.

I started BCS because I have been helping friends and family for years be ready for those ‘unexpected’ situations. Truth is, unexpected situations are events that happen without planning, and having no plan to handle them. I’ve met many people who would like to be ready in case of an emergency, but don’t know where to turn to. I wanted to make sure no one is without the skills necessary to be prepared, and started BCS. My pledge to you, no matter who you are, I’ll make sure you are ready to help the important people in your life!
